Long before cider, beer or wine started introducing fruit and herbs into the mix, Mead has been happily cooking up new ideas. It may be the oldest drink in the world, but its probably the most versatile aswell. And this also goes for a mead’s strength. We’ve made meads that are 2% and some that are 15%. But up until very recently, no-one was making a sparkling mead. Welcome to the world of new mead.
