A medium-dry sparkling mead with a light, crisp finish.
Here in Mereworth, or Marourde to use its historical name, the wild flora and fauna inspire us. With a handful of botanicals, and a healthy passion for wine-making, we set about refreshing the worlds oldest drink. Our lightly alcoholic mead is a delicate blend of honey and cool Kentish water, all gently fermented with a pinch of champagne yeast. With oak barrel and whole flower infusions, we then slowly steep it to further enhance the flavour. The result is a medium dry mead, nine thousand years in the making.
Serve very well chilled, over ice with a slice of lemon.
